I'd be interested to know to what extent young men to whom having a family is important include, even if only subconsciously and without explicit articulation, unfair and unfavorable divorce laws, practices and outcomes for fathers post-divorce as among the troublesome societal and female expectations they report as reasons they find committed relationships to be not in their interest.

That was why I ultimately didn't, but I'm far from young at this point (mid-40s). I also accumulated a reasonable nest egg so I may not be typical--usually wealthier men are *more* likely to marry.

I get what you’re saying, but don’t forget that feminism is a reaction to very real and statistically significant garbage behavior from a large swath of men. It’s a vicious cycle and we started it.

Yep. We induced tit-for-tat petty violence. Recently read a bit from a Victorian railroad brochure advising women to carry protection on passenger cars because assaults were common when passengers trains went through tunnels. Speaking of tunnels, your vision…
